648 XXXII Международный Конгресс по источниковедению и историографии стран Азии и Африки Секция XVI Analysis of female characters provides this study with a foundation for understanding how forced marriage, early marriage, tradition of “Kunya”, issue of sexual repression among women traumatize Muslim girls and women in Northern Nigeria. Olaoye and Zink [3] also focus onAbubakarAdam Ibrahim’s female characters, reading Muslim woman’s body as a speakerly text. The main idea is that these characters “carry marks of religion, trauma, with the attendant shame of transgression, on their bodies. These factors make thesewomen ‘speakerly text,’who speak against thewill of thosewho embody these conflicting ideologies. The idea of the body as ‘speakerly text’ is germane here since silenced women’s bodies encode and transmit messages that their voices would not”. 1 The present study is aimed at analysis of how contemporary socio-cultural and political situation in Northern Nigeria influences ordinary people’s everyday life and reality in general. Many social and cultural social phenomena such as soyayya literature, extremely popular among female readers, are seen as a way to survive mentally, to withstand the trauma. The study maintains connection between contemporary socio- cultural events and realms and everyday life of Northern Nigerians revealing how they try to find comfort and relief. Some remarks are made on aspects of characters development. Comparative analysis of different aged characters allows questioning the transformation of perception and experiences regarding traditional norms and taboos. Murodova D. B. (Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Uzbekistan) The Image of Flowers in Pak Vanso’s Novels Today, along with male writers, female writers are making a great contribution to the development of modern Korean literature. According to historical sources, female writers entered the world of Korean literature in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. By the 1960s, the number of writers expanded somewhat, and interest in their work also increased. The 1990s were criticized by critics as the entry of female writers into the world of literature took a violent turn. In fact, this is evidence of the increased activity of women in the field of literature, as well as in other fields, and the end of the long- lasting monopoly of male creators. Korean literature is closely related to nature, from the legends to the present day, the harmony of man and nature can be felt in all the works created. Clouds, rain and wind given in early legends are important elements for human existence, while majestic mountains in medieval stories reflect people’s consciousness, spirit, and soul. 1 Olaoye Elizabeth, Zink Amanda.
